Speaker's bio:

Chris Gustafson graduated from St. Edward’s University in Austin in 1995.  He had a positive college experience, so his first job was to work for Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth as an Enrollment Counselor, recruiting the freshman class.  He then went on to work for the University of Dallas.

From there, he found his first role in corporate recruiting for GTE, soon to become Verizon.

He is now a 25-year recruiting veteran.  He has worked in many industries including manufacturing, telecom, IT, advertising, marketing, professional services, consulting, pre-sales engineering, software / hardware sales, commercial real estate, blue collar / trades including heavy-duty truck & trailer parts and restoration & construction.  He has also worked in many types of recruiting environments including corporate, agency, executive and retained search.

In these environments he has recruited for all corporate roles including finance and accounting, marketing, sales, HR, engineering, field-service based roles, and many others.

His sweet spot is working in a corporate-recruiting environment.  He is skilled at saving the companies he has worked for millions of dollars in agency recruiting fees.
