Key Note Speaker Bio

Mr. Costello is an economist who analyzes the commercial property markets. Jim communicates stories
on market performance to clients of Real Capital Analytics by way of writing and presentations.

Jim has worked in the commercial real estate space on issues of urban economics since 1990, including a
20-year stint with CBRE’s Torto Wheaton Research team. Jim expanded the reach of the Torto Wheaton
Research team developing forecasts of global market fundamentals. Jim also developed approaches to
pair the forecast results with frameworks to answer investor questions on asset values and relative
investment opportunities.

Jim provided advice to the Treasury Department and other policy makers in the aftermath of the Global
Financial Crisis and helped educate these professionals on commercial real estate performance.

Jim has a master’s degree in economics and is a member of the Counselors of Real Estate. Jim is also a
member of the Commercial Board of Governors of the Mortgage Bankers Association.

FENG Real Estate SIG is a subgroup of FENG (Financial Executives Networking Group) and is led out of Houston Texas. The Chairs are Libby Cadillo and Vince Calicchia. 2019 Corporate Sponsors: Amegy Bank & Vaco.

The group focuses on presenting real estate topics relevant to financial executives and investment-savvy professionals, members & guests, who are seeking to grow their knowledge base in the commercial real estate (CRE) sector and network with like-minded driven financial professionals across markets.

The Real Estate SIG covers real estate topics that include financing and cap rate metrics relevant to various product types such as shopping centers, stand-alone retail, build-to-suit (BTS), office, industrial, medical, land, owner-occupied real estate, and commercial leases.

Meetings are normally the 4th Thursday of each month at Amegy Bank Tower in the Galleria area, near San Felipe and 610 fwy from 7:30am - 9:30am CT. The presentation is streamed live online and over the phone across markets for those unable to attend in person.

The meetings typically include individual introductions, commercial real estate updates, lending updates, Key Note Speaker and conclusion remarks.

All members and guests are welcome. We suggest that you bring your business cards and introduce yourself to the group at large. There is not cost to attend.

Libby is a commercial real estate investments professional and managing director who advises and negotiates on behalf of investors/buyers and owners/sellers of commercial real estate throughout the Houston Texas region, and is the Principal of Cadillo Companies, LLC., a CRE brokerage and Consulting Advisory firm. Libby relocated to Houston Texas from Orange County California to participate in the massive growth throughout the region in commercial real estate development, acquisitions, and dispositions. Libby earned her MBA from University of California – Irvine with a self-directed focus on Commercial Real Estate (CRE) investments & finance. Prior to earning her MBA, she worked in the financial markets with a concentration on Advisory of publicly traded investment vehicles & planning, research, and conducting educational investments seminars starting in 2002.

She concentrated on CRE investments since 2009. In years prior to 2002, Libby worked in CPG Marketing & International Business, Accounting, Finance & Sales Tax reporting, and traveled extensively. She has earned securities licenses, and real estate licenses in California and Texas. She has been active with ICSC and The FENG since 2004 while volunteering and mentoring at YMCA-OC, Girls, Inc.-OC, and ICSC Emerging Markets.

Vince is a community banker, commercial lender, and champion of small business. He has been in the banking industry since 1990 serving in management, business development, and credit capacities over that time. He has experience working for a smaller institution with assets of $150 million, a larger money-center institution with assets of $350 million, and a few other banks in-between. From 2003 to 2011, Vince managed the small business lending unit for a local $3 billion dollar institution servicing an SBA portfolio of over $200 million. Currently Vince is a senior business banking relationship manager primarily covering the north Houston region at Amegy Bank, a Texas community bank and part of Zions Bancorporation with assets of over $65 billion.

Vince is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Finance and a graduate of the University of Houston with an MBA. He continues to serve on various boards of industry associations and non-profits. Vince is married to his wife of 24 years, has two children, and lives in The Woodlands. Vince is a huge sports fan, avid snow skier, and committed to his Christian faith.
