Agenda:
Your Personal Brand…
Discover-Articulate-Market your “Special Sauce”
Program Overview

Today’s volatile business landscape is flooded with ‘voice-less’, undifferentiated, commoditized LinkedIn profiles, self-marketing collateral and self-serving elevator pitches. For many, this is an opportunity.

This post-recessionary marketplace demands that candidates ‘stand out’ authentically amid this clutter and noise. ‘Fake it ‘til you make it’ is not an option for most financial executives. For them, it’s superficial, misleading and lacks integrity.

Success and fulfillment belong to those who are open to the possibilities and adopt a proactive mindset. They uncover their Personal Brand - their unique promise of value. They ‘find their ‘voice’ - so they can be ‘heard’ above the crowd. They are able to motivate people of influence, i.e., referring parties and decision makers.

People with a well-developed Personal Brand elevate their pre-eminence with what is their ‘right fit’ audience, building credibility that will motivate their’ champions’ to advocate on their behalf.

About Charley Timmins:
Charley Timmins deals in one of life’s little mysteries – how to secure work that matters - so candidates achieve professional success, gain personal significance and have more fun.
His “Big Idea” – that only by finding our true voice and living our Authentic Self can we make the difference in the world. He knows that our hidden superpowers hold the key to our Authentic Self, which enables us to do well by doing good.

BE SURE TO BRING YOUR RESUME OR ONE PAGE MARKETING PIECE! As well as a name badge and name tent for the table.

To print a name tag or tent card: log on to the website, go to “Members Only.” Then scroll down to “Member Downloads.” From there scroll to “Other Useful Documents.” Then scroll down to “FENG-Name Badge” and/or “FENG- Meeting Tent.”

Chapter Update, Member Introductions and Networking

As always, this is a great opportunity to network, practice your “elevator” speech and share ideas & tips with fellow FENG members.

Come prepared to learn and share your recent successes, describe your job search plans for the next month, and bring job search questions and concerns. Seek assistance from the group on topics where you need help.

It is important that you bring copies of your target list of companies and people you would like to meet. Also bring enough copies of your One Pager profile or Resume for other members. These are necessary tools you need so that people will know how to help you.

We meet the third Monday of each month from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Our objective is to support each other, share leads and discuss general intelligence about the job market.

Dress is "job interview" attire, or "dressy" business casual.

The networking objectives for the meeting are:

To give each member of our group an opportunity to meet with peers, share job leads and create a sharp focus on his or her career search target in the minds of our members. This allows members and guests to provide you with job leads, networking contacts and strategic search advice.'
