Hi All,

I'd be very pleased to receive referrals from any of you for full-time or consulting opportunities in the NYC metro area for senior finance roles (CFO or otherwise), or roles utilizing finance/strategy skills (such as strategic planning, acquisition/divestiture, investor fund raising, IPO prep, Investor Relations, COO, business profitability analysis, sales analysis and support, etc.).

My 30 second pitch:
In very broad terms, I can do two things for you:
1) Manage everything related to accounting and tax operations, audits, FP&A, HR and Legal, AND/OR
2) Be a true partner to the CEO and management team on overall business strategy, development and execution, including acting in the capacity of COO if desired.

Background overview:

1) Industry experience in software, saas, internet, healthcare, consumer products, marketing, and investment management.

2) I have held positions as
- CFO owning Finance, Accounting, HR and Legal ($30mm Private-equity backed software company);
- #2 to CFO as Controller, Treasurer, Head of Tax, and FP&A ($150mm private-equity backed, fast growing saas software company);
- Equity research analyst;
- Head of Strategic Planning, Bus. Dev., and New Product Mgmt at a $60mm software subsidiary (healthcare/insurance industry) of a multi-Billion $ public company;
- Brand Finance Mgr at a multi-Billion $ Food company.

3) Education:
MBA from Cornell in Finance
CFA earned subsequently, mostly for the fun of doing it (and I know that probably sounds nuts!).

Thank you in advance.

Best,

Will Lee

Will, for consulting have you tried Tatum CFO and Resources Global? Also, you mentioned a wide variety of experiences. Have you thought about taking the elevator pitch and focusing on specific industries and skill sets (e.g. technical accounting if you have it)?
