Director of Population Health Data, Analytics and Reporting - Chicago, IL / NW IN Area
The Director of Population Health Data will be in charge of the entire realm of population health analytics, enterprise wide. Manages data collection and data integrity as well as feeds from other systems and various sources into the Cerner Healthe Intent platform. Manages population risk analysis and risk modeling. The data consists of financial information, clinical outcome and performance data, various population data points, disease specific data and other data points. Responsible for reporting and analytics on the data. This individual will be responsible for translating this data into actionable information to reduce readmissions, enhance care management and care planning and provide a more cost effective, safer, and higher performing level of care. The Director reports to the CFO and works closely with the VP of Care Management and other clinical department leaders.
Minimum three years (five+ years preferred) of experience in a healthcare system, health insurance company, health information company or any other related healthcare or data information company. Also requires a minimum of three years (five+ years preferred) in a data analysis, risk analysis, reimbursement analysis, contract analysis, population health or outcome analysis, cost accounting, decision support or any other health data role. Minimum educational requirements are a Bachelor degree in statistics, accounting, business or related field. A Master degree, CPA or both are preferred.

The Joint Commission accredited health system is performing well financially, it has produced positive operating margins for several years in a row. The system is located in a Chicago suburb reasonably commutable from the city, most other suburbs and Northwest Indiana.
