Hello,

Would appreciate hearing from other members how much time should pass and would be approrpiate to reach back out to a company to find out if there is still interest in continuing conversations.  After my initial meeting there was no specific time given other than we will get back to you.

As background. I met with an operating partner for PE firm who is looking for a CFO for one of their entities.  The other partner who I will need to meet with lives in out of state but my understanding is that he visits the other location often.

Thank you.

Herb,

If it's been 10 days to two weeks since your initial meeting, contact them. Reaffirm your interest. It doesn't have to be a telephone call. Email will be fine.

Eventually, you'll either hear from them or have your answer through their lack of response.
