Dear fellow FENG members,

My niece's daughter Nina (both live in Cologne, Germany) would like to spend a school year in the U.S. after the Corona crisis is over and a "normal" trip and stay is possible again. She also plays field hockey in her age group of the German Regional Field Hockey League and would like to continue to play field hockey a the school she would attend. - Does anybody have any suggestions on how to pursue this, or organizations to contact? Any help would be highly appreciated.

The German American Chamber of Commerce can help you. They have several offices in the US. (www:gaccny.com) is the New York office.

You may also try German-American School in New York. They are very well-connected in the world of German expats, so might have an idea or two. Their principal is Dr. Ursula Beitter, reach out to her at germanamericanschool@verizon.net.
