In today’s wired world, what appears to be happening is that Corporate Human Resources departments are posting open positions on their firm’s website, on the public boards such as the MonsterBoard and HotJobs, AND giving these same assignments to multiple contingency search firms. While we would like to think that what is happening is something new, this is the way things have been done for many years by some companies, even before the Internet.
