Please join us as Ken Lang discusses “Jump In, The LinkedIn Water’s Fine”. Ken will be talking about how hard it is to get started on the LinkedIn platform, but once you get going, you open yourself up to many networking opportunities and the ability to be considered a thought leader. 

Kenneth Lang, founder of KML Consultants, was an early adopter of LinkedIn. Starting in 2008 he began sharing his LinkedIn expertise at networking events attended by job seekers, business professionals, career coaches and other decision makers. He was invited by members of LinkedIn to learn about future changes to the platform which he shares at events like these.

Kenneth belongs to and facilitates several networking groups in NJ where he sees a need for better and relevant LinkedIn knowledge. Volunteering and ‘paying it forward’ are important as part of his personal mission. He is known as a “LinkedIn Rockstar” as he does a lot of work with people teaching them the intricacies of LinkedIn and how it helps them get noticed on the platform. Ken also hosts a weekly “LinkedIn Live” session with the LinkedIn experts for people who want to use the platform more effectively. Ken, along with Marty Latman, designed the www.MyNetworkingCentral.com platform which is used by many people in their job search to help them navigate the numerous networking groups and speakers available today. 

He and his wife live in Wayne, N.J.
