Salvatore Russo, Partner & Co-Head of Private Markets at Cerity Partners will be presenting on “Current Trends and Benefits of the Private Markets.” His bio and picture is included below:

Bio: Sal Russo is Co-Head of Private Markets and a member of Cerity Partner’s Investment Committee. Sal has more than twenty-five years of experience providing investment research, advisory, and wealth management services to both high-net-worth individuals and institutions. 

Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Sal was a Partner and Head of Research for EMM Wealth. He also served as a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. In his role as Head of Research, Sal worked closely with the Chief Investment Officer and Investment Committee members to formulate the firm’s investment and research priorities. His responsibilities included overseeing the process of identifying, evaluating, and conducting due diligence for prospective funds and monitoring existing investments. Sal also served as a director for Tremont Capital Management, Inc., where he researched various alternative investment strategies. He joined the firm as Head of Operational Risk and built an independent team and process for assessing operational risks for the firm’s alternative investments. Previously, he served as Assistant Vice President for JP Morgan, where he spent nearly ten years providing investment consulting services to large corporate and public pension plan sponsors.
