Presentation and Discussion reflecting on the last 6- 8 years significant technology boom, that resulted in the need to protect clients from dangerous cyber criminals and the therefore advanced the cyber security expert field. The widespread epidemic of ransomware and business email compromise (BEC) that many businesses have been the victim of has clarified the need for experts in the field.  This environment has resulted in the trending towards the growing need for a chief security officer to be added to the business organization structure if feasible.

Brent is a very passionate sales leader, specializing in risk management programs and strategies within general manufacturing, medical device contract manufacturing, and Cyber Liability market space.  He has been fortunate to work with clients to analyze their insurance portfolio by “auditing” current policies, financial risk and helping those clients understand their “risk” of financial loss.  The technology boom of the last 6-8 years has drawn Brent's attention to developing the skills and knowledge base to better protect clients from dangerous cyber criminals.  The current environment as it continues confirms his decision every day that this is an area he feels led to develop and maintain expertise.  We are pleased to be able to have him share his expertise with our group.
