ESG - What it is and how it impacts Investors, Community, and Customers  

Sustainability in the supply chain is no longer a PR department issue, but rather a C-Suite issue. So while the SEC formalizes reporting, CFOs can take a lead role in reducing risk and creating value.  In order to do so, CFOs must start educating the finance teams on meaningful short- and long-term financial sustainability strategies that create enhanced industry reputation and reduced climate risk.

Steve Peterson, long time FENG member, has worked in the media, technology and now cannabis industries.  Former CPA (NYS Inactive), Steve has been a Co-Founder of three companies (remote environmental sensor monitoring, financial KPI dashboards for Quickbooks and now is the Co-Founder, CEO and Chairman of WasteTrakr.com.  Steve is also a Senior Partner at Tress Solutions (Tress.io), a venture capital and consulting firm for the cannabis and hemp markets. Tress invested in a lot of the technology that supports the new industry.   Long time resident of NY, CA and recently moved to Ohio in 2019.
