Stephen Owens, Founder Carolina Coffee Company
As founder of the Carolina Coffee Company, Steve set out to provide the most outstanding in home coffee experience by crafting the absolute best tasting coffees, fresh-roasted and delivered directly to the coffee consumer. Steve is involved in sourcing, cupping, and roast profiling every coffee and specialty blend that is selected to bear the Carolina Coffee Company name.
Prior to starting the Carolina Coffee Company in 2004, Steve spent over 15 years as the owner of two family steakhouse restaurants in Chapel Hill and Durham N.C. as well as a joint venture with Morrison's Cafeteria to operate a small group of southern catfish restaurants.
