Rick Handrich is the Senior Vice President, Atlantic North Region for Bluerock Capital Markets, which he joined in February of 2018. Mr. Handrich is responsible for raising capital throughout the states of New York (excluding Long Island, Queens & Brooklyn) and New Jersey for the various investment programs sponsored by Bluerock Capital Markets, including Alternative, 1031, and Interval fund products.
Rick is an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. He began his career as a regional sales manager in the mutual fund industry in the mid 1980’s and had the opportunity to work for Marty Cohen and Bob Steers when they launched the first real estate mutual fund directly representing their portfolio management.
He then became one of the original regional managers at Templeton Funds, covering most of the eastern half of the U.S. Rick then transitioned to the non-traded REIT industry in 2002 and has since enjoyed introducing this alternative investment concept to the advisors he has built relationships with over the past 25 years.
Rick and his wife, Mary Beth, live in the Princeton, New Jersey area, with their three children. Rick loves spending time with his family, especially playing tennis.
