Xavier Gomez | Chief Operating Officer |

Xavier is a Fintech Thought Leader and specialist of finance with strong expertise in Banking and Private Equity. He is a global Fintech speaker and writer and regularly writes about the future of banking and emerging trends in Finance. He is an expert of digital transformation and more specifically innovations in finance. He is a banker with expertise in leadership management and a sharp interest in disruptive Finance inclusion and Regulation.

He started his career at Credit Suisse in different top management positions between London, Paris, Zurich and Geneva in Private and Investment Banking. Fonta Gilliam is the CEO and Founder of Invest Sou Sou, a fintech company based in Washington, DC. Ms. Gilliam has over 10 years of development finance experience working in the United States, Africa, and Asia as a U.S. Diplomat and a management consultant in Deloitte's Emerging Markets Practice. Over the course of her career, she led numerous White House and U.S. State Department initiatives, including launching two of the U.S. Government’s first women’s business centers in Africa and designing innovative financing facilities to unlock capital for women and small businesses in the United States, Kenya, Morocco, Zambia, Nigeria, South Korea, and China. In 2016, she was awarded the U.S. State Department’s prestigious Franklin Award for her tireless work to support economic empowerment initiatives for women in Africa.

Ms. Gilliam has a Master of Arts in economic development from American University’s School of International Studies (SIS) and a Bachelor of Arts in political science and economics from Howard University.

Ambre Soubiran | CEO |

Ambre is the CEO of Kaiko, an enterprise-grade market data provider in the blockchain-based digital assets industry. Prior to joining Kaiko, Ambre spent a decade at HSBC in London and Paris, structuring equity derivatives and equity-based financing solutions (Global Markets & Equity Capital Markets). Ambre has a passion for world-changing technology, and has been interested in digital assets since 2012. She was elected as a member of the Scientific Committee and Board of the Fondation Concorde, a renowned French think-tank, and is leading a working group on blockchain-based transformations of European capital markets.

Dr. Wilton McDonald II Esq | Principal | Iberia Cayman |

Dr. Wilton McDonald II, Esq. is responsible for providing legal services to Cayman and BVI domiciled funds, as well as several other jurisdictions. Wilton has over 27 years of public accounting, financial services and legal experience setting up over 800 hedge funds, and has worked closely with start-ups as well as “blue chip” investment fund managers, administrators and onshore counsel, based primarily in the USA, United Kingdom, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Brazil, Hong Kong/ China, UAE-Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Russia, and Japan.

Wilton also serves as independent director and advisor to the alternative investment community. Wilton’s investment funds practice has afforded him the opportunity to gain experience in general corporate, partnership, trusts, and commercial law, liquidations, as well as experience in securities, secured lending transactions, and IPOs/ stock exchange listings. Wilton is a retired Fellow of the ACCA in the United Kingdom (2001) and a registered foreign lawyer in Poland. He was admitted to the bar in 2004 as an Attorney/ Barrister in the Cayman Islands, Jamaica, and the British Virgin Islands, and in 2002/ 2003 as an Attorney in Connecticut (ret), and New York, USA.

Dr. McDonald helped to grow several start-up practices attached to CIMA licensed administrators during 2013- 2020 billing just under US$ 5 million before such entities were eventually sold. Prior to establishing his own consulting firm, Iberia Cayman in 2010, Wilton built a US$ 3.5 million practice at Truman Bodden & Co. as Head of the Investment Funds Dept. (between 2006 -2010). Wilton completed a BSc/ BBA degree from Northern Caribbean University, an MBA from Andrews University, a Bachelor of Laws (2:1 Hons.) degree from University College London, a Master of Laws degree from Fordham Law School and completed the residence requirement for the Doctor of Juridical Science degree at Cornell Law School in Ithaca NY. dr. McDonald completed the Council of Legal Education Certificate and obtained a certificate in company law from the Université de Paris I and the Panthéon-Sorbonne He was awarded the Doctor of Business Administration degree in Rome, Italy in January 2020 and completed pre and post-doctoral studies in finance and economics at two universities in Poland including the Warsaw School of Economics. dr. McDonald is currently completing post-doctoral research and an executive leadership program at Saïd Business School, Oxford. Wilton’s postgraduate research has always focused on derivatives and their impact on the stability of US banks.
