Stan Silverman is a recognized thought leader, influencer and widely read nationally syndicated Business Journal columnist on leadership. He is the author of Be Different! The Key to Business and Career Success. He speaks, writes and coaches C-suite executives on how to build competitive advantage for their business. His mission: to help others be successful.

He is the former CEO of global PQ Corporation. He has served on numerous public, private, private equity, nonprofit and educational institution boards. Stan is vice chairman of Drexel University. He is the former chairman of Drexel University College of Medicine, and former chairman of the Soap and Detergent Association.

Stan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering and an MBA degree from Drexel University. He is also an alumnus of the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School.
