Agenda:

Lisa Wright Jenkins, the CEO of the Council on Aging – Southern California will talk in this engaging presentation about “Staying Healthy, Connected and Protected as We Age”.

We plan for many things in our lives, yet often overlook planning for aging for ourselves, a parent or loved one.  Learn about the topics to consider related to aging and caregiving and how you can be prepared.  By planning in advance, you can better understand the steps to take now, including accessing the array of local resources.

Following a 25-year career in the private sector, Lisa joined the Council on Aging – Southern California as their President and CEO in 2012.  In her role, Lisa drives the Council’s mission of supporting the independence, health, and dignity of older adults through compassion, education, and advocacy. Annually, the Council serves over 100,000 older adults and family caregivers with an array of programs and services.  Lisa holds a B.S. in Business Administration from The Ohio State University.
