He will be speaking on a recent ruling. On April 23, the Federal Trade Commission ("FTC") voted to issue a final rule banning non-compete clauses nationwide with limited exceptions. This rule has the potential to upend many non-compete and similar provisions across the country. However, several lawsuits have been filed attempting to block this rule. Yet, no courts have issued any rulings. Jared Speier, of Stradling will discuss what this mean for employers now and what employers can do to prepare.
