Topic:  The Future of Finance Work in Agentic Age

Speaker: Bob Woods, Partner, Finance Modernizations, in PwC’s Finance Transformation

Presentation:

Today’s finance functions are reaching a ‘terminal value’, meaning costs and capacity are at an inflection point while calls to action are increasing. The number #1 call to action for CFOs today is the demand for more timely, actionable insights to business partners, executives, and regulators. At PwC, the answer to this ‘cost-capacity-call to action’ equation is the Future of Work, or the rapidly emerging human-agentic operating model. We see the Future of Work as a strategy, operating model, and workforce program, not a technology tool – one that can unlock human capacity to focus on insight generation.
