Topic:  Analyzing the SPAC Boom's Effect on the M&A Marketplace -   

This talk will discuss the effects of the 18-month deal window closing this summer for a sizeable portion of the 2020 SPAC wave has on deal valuations, target expectations, and other market dynamics.  This is Part II of our meeting that was widely popular last month.

Dr. Daniele D’Alvia is the CEO and Founder of SPACs Consultancy Ltd. He is a Teaching Fellow in Banking and Finance Law at Queen Mary University of London, and a pioneer in SPAC’s studies in law, award-winner of the Colin B Picker Prize by the American Society of Comparative Law.

Chris is also an expert in automation, leveraging RPA to reduce client operating costs.  Chris holds and MBA from the University of Chicago in Finance and Econometrics & Statistics.  Chris was awarded a BBA in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame.

Milos Vulanovic, Ph.D |  Professor Corporate Finance |  EDHEC 

Milos Vulanovic, Ph.D, is Professor of Corporate Finance at EDHEC Business School. He is teaching in various EDHEC programs. He holds a Ph.D. in Financial Economics from The Graduate Center at City University of New York. His prior teaching experience includes City University of Hong Kong, Western New England University, Baruch College-City University of New York, Yeshiva University, Pace University, Lehman College- City University of New York and New York Institute of Technology. 

His research interests include empirical corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and special purpose acquisition companies. His papers have been published in several journals including Managerial Finance, Global Finance Journal and North American Journal of Finance and Economics.
