Speaker's bio:

Michael Berg is a nonprofit executive with a profound commitment to seeing the Good News of Jesus taken to the hardest and darkest places in the world. Growing up in southwestern Michigan, Michael encountered God through a series of life events and gave his life to Christ just before his 20th birthday. His transformation led him to attend a Discipleship Training School in 1979 at Youth With A Mission Arkansas and his involvement with YWAM grew from there. He attended Michigan State University and Lake Michigan College, and holds an Executive Master’s Degree in Leadership from the University of the Nations. Michael, along with his wife, Darla, founded YWAM Orlando in1995. Holding tight to God's dream of launching a major mission's training launchpad in Central Florida, they continue the work today. In addition to teaching internationally, he also carries other leadership roles in YWAM. They have three children and two grandchildren. Two children and their son-in-law are also currently serving at YWAM Orlando.
