Presentation:

Growth creates complexity — and finance plays a critical role in navigating it. As organizations grow, finance must evolve from function to a strategic driver.

Join to explore how financial strategy, planning, and advanced analytics support profitable, long term growth. Learn when to scale your finance function, how to use analytics and AI effectively, and when to outsource.

- Distinguish finance as a strategic advisor rather than just a reporting or control function

- Identify ways to connect profitability, growth, and capital allocation through better strategic planning

- Recall ways to use analytics to move from hindsight to foresight and support faster, better decisions

- Identify smarter resourcing decisions across people, process, technology, and governance

-  Recognize common transformation pitfalls and how stronger teams avoid them

- Define what “good” looks like in a mature strategic finance operating model

- Discuss ways to build a practical roadmap that can begin to transform the finance function

Speaker’s Bio:

I am an intuitive and empathetic strategist that has 20+ years of experience building accounting, finance, and business intelligence functions from a blank canvas. I dig deep to analyze issues, solve problems, and implement improvements that lead to big financial wins. I assess and improve upon many facets: ERP software, data management tools, reporting, budgets, forecasts, financial discipline, cash management, development of teams, optimization of month-end close, compliance, audit preparation, and more.

My primary focus is serving middle market companies to identify key financial information that will grow their business. I create and deploy one-page dashboards that demonstrate what a company is doing well and what they can do better. I provide CEO’s the opportunity to ascertain how they should spend their day, before they turn on the shower in the morning, with the click of a button.

My passionate and hard-working approach, along with empathetic intuition, give me the tools to build excellent relationships and provide action based financial information. I am not the traditional executive. I operate at both a high level and dip down to work in a hands-on way. I see opportunities from a distance and quickly pinpoint the path to success. I put that path in motion and swiftly get results.

When I am not giving my clients access to powerful financial information, I spend time with my family outdoors as much as possible. We enjoy skiing, hiking, going to the beach, and kayaking. Our three rescue dogs prefer we binge watch Netflix instead, which is always welcome on a rainy day!
