Speaker’s bio:
Dr Jayaram is currently a Professor of Practice - Accounting & Finance, IFMR GSB, KREA University, and is well qualified with M.Com, M.Phil, FCMA, Dip in BV, ACMA (UK), CGMA (AICPA US), PhD. Well known as a " COSTING EXPERT", he has been a professor for over 2 decades. Besides teaching courses on Cost & Management Accounting, Profitability Analytics & Enterprise Performance Management, Working capital Finance and Financial Accounting across full-time, part-time, and EMBA programmes, he has also handled over 250 plus Executive Development training sessions for large corporates like L & T, Ashok Leyland, Apollo Tyres, Borg Warner, Chemplast, and more.

Additionally, he holds the position of Sr. Consultant & Director at Pro~Active Solutech (India) Pvt Ltd, a consulting and IT Solutions Company specializing in the design and implementation of Cost Management systems.

Speakership: 

Dr Jayram is a regular speaker at the various industry forums, professional institutes including ACMA (auto component), Indian Institute of Foundrymen, Indian Institute of Industrial Engineers and Institute of Cost Accountants of India and CIMA UK.

1. Enterprise Performance & Risk Management for MSMEs – a primer published by ICWAI in July 2024.Updated version to be released in January 2025

2. Chapter titled - “A Three-Pronged Strategy for Production Cost Optimisation in MSMEs & Role of CMAs”, in the special edition titled Role of CMAs in Viksit Bharat 2047", published by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) and launched by Governor of West Bengal

Research: Deep research on Concepts of Costing and Focus areas include

a) Cost & Management accounting with specific focus on Activity Based Cost & Management in Auto & Auto ancillary industry.

b) Profitability Analytics & Enterprise Performance management

ERP Systems

His PhD dissertation was on, “Sophistication of Cost Management Systems in Indian auto ancillary sector”.
