Speaker's bio:

Dr. Paritosh Basu is moving ahead with his management education, research and consulting activities. His ongoing research projects include Digital Transformation, Tokenisation, and Digital Playbook. He is the Senior Director (Services) of Stragility Consulting Pvt. Ltd. and a digital gospeller. The 2nd enlarged edition of his book, ‘Digital Transformation - A Prismatic View,’ was published in June 2024. His professional background is supported by an M.Com., and Ph.D. from the University of Calcutta, FCMA, FCA, and FIMA.

After completing 9 years as a full-time senior professor and Chairperson of the MBA (Law) program at the NMIMS University School of Business Management, Mumbai, India, he is currently an adjunct faculty member at IIM Kozhikode and is regarded as a scholarly academic.

He served the corporate world for 34 years until 2013, with leadership responsibilities across corporate finance, accounting and reporting, strategic planning, risk management, and IT enablement functions. His last two corporate positions were as the Global Group Controller and CFO of two large MNCs in India.

Dr Basu was conferred with the Fellow of All India Management Association (FIMA) in June 2021 to recognise his achievements and contributions to professional management. He was recognised as ‘One of India’s Greatest CMAs. - The Inspired 100’ by The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) in 2025. He received the Lifetime Achievement Award from Trescon Global in 2016. Blockchain Foundation of India has included him on the list of the Top 50 Blockchain Influencers in India in 2021. ICMAI has conferred on him in 2024 one of the ‘Top Three Hundred Achievers’ Awards.’

He is an avid management educator, trainer, and mentor. He has chaired four World Blockchain and AI Summits in Moscow, Dubai, and India. He has delivered keynote speeches and led and/or spoken on panels at hundreds of national and international summits, conferences, seminars, and webinars.

He has authored four Case Studies, jointly with professors from IIM and a foreign University, which are available from Harvard and Ivey Publishing. He is a sought-after speaker.
