Speaker's bio: Jessica Whitman, CISSP, CISA 

Jessica has over 10 years of information security, cybersecurity, IT control, and IT audit experience in a number of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, healthcare, technology, service, not for profit, and insurance. Jessica’s current role entails managing cyber advisory services. These include cybersecurity assessments, security and risk programs (including ISO and NIST), privacy programs including GDPR and CCPA/CPRA, incident response tabletop exercises, policy development, and risk assessments. She also has experience in managing and performing information systems general controls reviews, SOX, SOC 1, 2, and 3 examinations, ISO 27001 certifications, GLBA compliance, HIPAA/HITECH, and application reviews. Jessica is also responsible for the cybersecurity team’s data analytics initiative and for maintaining firm and engagement quality for cybersecurity engagements. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science in accountancy and a minor in management information systems from Miami University. Jessica is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and an ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
