Chicago Chapter Co-Chair Lynn Chandler will interview Frances Blascio, an experienced CFO who has advanced within Fortune 500 companies. Frances will share her perspective on democratizing financial data to make it accessible and comprehensible to all employees, enabling them to see how their daily tasks influence the company's financial outcomes.
Speaker Bio
Frances Blascio has led teams through periods of adversity and extreme uncertainty, including planning and forecasting after 9/11 at a US airline, and product recall and replacement for a medical device manufacturer.
She has also navigated her teams through more stable periods providing financial expertise in business development opportunities, costs of proposed labor contracts, long-range planning, and negotiations with major suppliers.
Frances has implemented SOX compliance, contract monitoring, LEAN, and other process improvement initiatives.
Frances earned a BS degree majoring in corporate finance and investment management with a minor in Spanish. She also holds an MBA in finance and accounting from the University of Chicago.
