Agenda:

On Tuesday, November 7th at 4PM EST, there will be a Chat with Matt featuring Larry Stybel of Stybel Peabody & Associates. I will be interviewing Larry about:

How to design and execute chapter three in your professional life

We will be discussing the three chapters in a professional life:

1. Learn the Game.
2. Win the Game.
3. Design the Game You Wish to Play for the Next Ten Years.

For all you football fans, Larry will be discussing the career planning of Andre Tippet, the legendary New England Patriots Outside Linebacker.

Andre designed Chapter Three while in Chapter Two. His rationale was he could play more aggressively on the field knowing that he had a plan for his new life after his football career was over.

Andre’ found that players who had no Chapter Three played to prolong Chapter Two. And this attitude made them more fearful of taking risks that might cause physical harm.

Educational Objectives:

1. Your professional life in a world of short job tenure and elongated middle age.
2. Why you won’t have a retirement life like your parents or grandparents.
3. The worst time to plan for Chapter Three is when you NEED to.
4. Steps in Planning for Chapter Three while in Chapter Two.
