Speaker's bio:
Alicia Locheed Goodrow is a distinguished Business and Tax Lawyer with extensive experience in both BigLaw and in-house roles. Her career is marked by a commitment to excellence and a passion for delivering white-glove, personalized legal services to her clients. She is fluent in Spanish and travels regularly to Mexico City to meet with clients.
Alicia is married to Henry, and together they share a love for traveling, shopping for second homes, beachcombing in Maine, hiking in the Hill Country, and cheering on the Longhorns in Austin. Alicia is a 4th generation Houstonian who can share fun, little-known facts about her hometown.
In addition to her professional pursuits, Alicia sings in her church choir and dedicates her time as a volunteer board member of Christ the King Lutheran Church. She and Henry have two grown children, Zach, a finance guy who resides in Houston, and Haley, a soon-to-be PhD candidate in microbiology, who lives in Philadelphia. Their dogs, Randy and Molly, fill their empty nest with troubles and antics.
Alicia's creative side shines through her fun fact: she keeps a sketching and watercolor journal, capturing the beauty of her experiences and surroundings through art.
