About Eileen D. Robbins

As a senior executive for such institutions as the United Nations, The Conference Board, various money center banks and securities clearing houses, Ms. Robbins developed a career as a global business development and enterprise risk management executive. Her various assignments have given her a strong foundation of hands-on business management experience dealing with clients in complex and challenging market segments.

Ms. Robbins is highly skilled at identifying and mitigating the risks of financing sovereign states, financial institutions, corporations, individuals, new products and day-to-day transaction processing. She is proficient in all aspects of ERM, including Credit, Market, Liquidity and Operational Risk Management, including Cyber security and Business Continuity Planning.

In 1997, Ms. Robbins joined the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation as the Risk Manager for its Emerging Markets Clearing Corporation subsidiary. She was then asked to design and implement a best in class Operational Risk Management framework for DTCC, which complied with the risk management and capital adequacy requirements of Basel II. She quickly became recognized throughout the industry as a subject matter expert for her knowledge and innovative approach, speaking frequently at conferences and being featured as the cover story for the April 2010 issue of Operational Risk Management Magazine. She is known for being highly effective at working proactively with business partners, boards, auditors and regulators to manage risk in support of business goals and has a proven track record of communicating effectively to articulate issues and gain acceptance of recommended solutions.

Drawing on these experiences, Ms. Robbins recently returned to the professional arena as an expert witness for a FINRA arbitration and is on the by invitation only roster of Eleven Canterbury, an agency representing vetted of global C-Suite executives for placement into short-term and full-time assignments, litigation consulting placement and board positions. In order to land other part time engagements, Ms. Robbins joined The FENG. Under the auspices of the Women’s SIG she conceived, created and implemented the highly successful mentoring program. As a member of the Women’s SIG Steering Committee, she is part of an effort to revamp its programming. Ms. Robbins successfully started a second Job Club in Manhattan and then was appointed one of 4 Chairs of the NY Chapter with responsibility for overseeing and expanding the metropolitan area Job Clubs.
