Rohit Nayyar is a seasoned finance and strategy leader with over 27 years of experience driving business growth and transformation across multinational corporations and the development sector. A distinguished alumnus of Shri Ram College of Commerce (Delhi University, India); he holds qualifications as a Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary (1997), complemented by the globally recognized Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) credential from ISACA, USA (2010).

His career trajectory showcases a proven ability to drive business growth strategies and leading transformation initiatives across cross-functional teams. He has done impactful roles at major Indian and multinational corporations, notably a decade at ‘Dell Technologies’. At Dell, Rohit was celebrated as a learning-agile and compassionate leader who built high-performing global teams spanning multiple continents and skillsets. His ability to inspire and deliver results earned him recognition as an exemplary leader.

In 2017, Rohit transitioned to the development sector and joined ‘CARE’, a global poverty-fighting organization operating in 100+ countries. During his tenure, he drove long-term financial viability for a diverse portfolio while resolving legacy issues and implementing transformative ERP systems that streamlined operations. His strategic approach and financial acumen earned CARE India the highest rating (VO1A) for Financial Proficiency from CRISIL rating agency. Effective Sept’23, Rohit serves as the Global Chief Financial Officer at the ‘Wadhwani Foundation’. The Foundation’s mission is to accelerate job creation in emerging economies and empower millions to achieve sustainable livelihoods. across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Rohit oversees strategic planning, decision support, controllership, legal affairs, taxation, IT infrastructure, and administration across multiple geographies.
