Think Like A Comedian, Act Like A Leader

When you think of a workplace comedian, you're probably not picturing a shining example of productivity.

But you don't have to be a comedian, you don't have to be funny, and you don't even have to be an extrovert to think like a comedian.

We’ve been conditioned to believe that "work isn't the time or place to laugh,” but this outdated adage has a demotivating effect on our ability to deal with uncertainty and solve unexpected challenges. A comedian takes an outside-of-the-box approach to their problems, and works to communicate their story to audiences by building and releasing tension. In the shifting state of today's workplace, creative problem-solving and deeper connection with others are the baseline of adapting to change, and being able to discover the humor within adversity and uncertainty is a skill that connects us, makes us more creative, more trusting, more likable, more productive, and so on.

This program offers an introduction to the 6 reframing techniques you can use to start thinking like a comedian. You don't even have to be funny to do it!
