Brian Frohn joined MetricStream as Chief Financial Officer in May 2025, bringing over 20 years of financial leadership excellence in SaaS and B2B portfolio environments. Brian is a proven operator with extensive experience in driving financial success, optimizing operational performance, and preparing companies for strategic transactions.

 

Brian's leadership philosophy centers on building strong teams and creating simplicity and clarity in complex business environments. He is passionate about developing faster, more efficient processes that enable businesses to make good decisions quickly. His expertise spans portfolio management, due diligence coordination, financial systems implementation, and team building, consistently operating lean finance organizations while providing comprehensive analytics and insights.

 

Brian embraces technology as a key driver of operational efficiency, implementing systems and process enhancements across portfolio companies and creating sophisticated financial dashboards that transform complex data into actionable insights. Brian began his career in public accounting before quickly transitioning to corporate finance roles. He holds degrees in Finance and Accounting from UMass.

 

Brian lives in Newton, Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston. He has two daughters currently in college and enjoys golf, sailing, reading, and writing in his free time.
