MAKING YOUR NETWORK WORK FOR YOU! Your network matters. The ability to grow and expand an influential network is valuable in every business and industry. Influential and successful people build strong relationships. And in building these relationships, there is a common theme everyone understands: A Strong Network is Like Money in the Bank! A strong network will enhance your visibility, extend your reach and create opportunities for your personal goals and business in the short and long-term. In this presentation you will learn the four parts of building a powerful network and how to use each area to your benefit. And you will learn the benefits of making networking a real habit!
Speaker's bio:
Jan Molino , President and CEO of Aspire Ascend, a consulting firm that provides executive coaching and board development to women executives. Since its founding, Jan has grown Aspire Ascend into an organization that crosses multiple industries and has access to numerous private and public boardrooms and executive leaders. 

Recognized as a thought leader on becoming a board member, CEO success, gender diversity, and networking, Jan is a recognized speaker on issues that impact women as leaders in the boardroom and C-suite. Chapter Description

1. What is The Women's SIG about?

The mission of The Women’s SIG is to have an environment conducive to developing relationships and making friends who will help each other throughout their careers and job searches. This is NOT a women-only club. All FENG members are welcome to join the SIG and attend our meetings.

2. How are we organized?

Programming is overseen by a Steering Committee consisting of up to 5 Co-Chairs. The current Co-Chairs are:

3. MEETINGS:

We meet by Zoom generally on the third Wednesday of each month from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM US Eastern Time unless otherwise noted. Occasionally, we schedule special programming or extend the duration of a meeting.

Twice a year we have a meeting devoted to networking using Zoom Breakout Rooms. Other meetings have a speaker addressing a variety of career, job search and other topics of professional development.

We take a hiatus in August.

4. MEETING REGISTRATION

You must register on The FENG website on the Women’s SIG Landing Page by noon, the day before the meeting @ https://www.thefeng.org/special-interest-groups/women-s/133

You will be sent the Zoom link late afternoon the day before the meeting. If you do not receive the Zoom link, please check your SPAM FOLDER. If you still can’t find it, you have until 8:00 AM the day of the meeting to write to:

In the event you do miss the meeting, all meetings are recorded (unless the speaker denies permission) and links to recordings are sent out to all those who registered for the meeting within 1 week of the date of the meeting.
