Topic: The One Thing Missing From Every Failed AI Initiative — And It's Not the Technology

Speaker: Kim Albee, Founder, VizzEx.ai | Co-Founder, CampaignCoach.ai | AI Strategist & Marketing Technologist

Most AI initiatives don't fail because of the technology. They fail because of what goes in before anyone touches a tool — the strategic clarity, the curiosity, the willingness to engage deeply rather than delegate blindly. After 4.5 years of building commercial AI products and systems, Kim Albee has seen this pattern repeat across every industry and every function. And finance is no exception.

In this session, Kim brings an outsider's lens and a practitioner's experience to one of the most pressing questions facing senior finance leaders today: not whether AI belongs in your organization, but how you engage with it personally, how you elevate your team's use of it, and how you position Finance as the function that shapes your organization's AI investments — rather than the one that polices them. You'll leave with a clear framework, a more useful mindset, and at least one thing you can do differently before the week is out.

What you'll take away from this session:

  • Why most AI initiatives fall short — and why the problem is almost never the technology
  • The mindset shift that separates finance leaders who are getting real value from AI from those still waiting for it
  • How to get dramatically better AI outputs by changing what you put in — before you open any tool
  • A practical framework for evaluating AI investments that Finance is uniquely positioned to own and champion
  • How to elevate your entire team's AI effectiveness with one simple question
  • What role Finance can play at the executive table — not as the budget police, but as the strategic architects of how your organization adopts AI

Speaker's bio:

Kim Albee has spent the last 4.5 years doing what most people are still just talking about — building commercial AI products and systems from the ground up. She is the founder of VizzEx.ai, the first horizontal content analysis tool that maps entire content ecosystems to make expertise visible and citable by AI, and co-founder of CampaignCoach.ai, a strategic AI platform that helps businesses generate deep customer insight and create content that genuinely resonates — not the generic output most people settle for. Both products are built on a single conviction: that the quality of your AI outputs is determined entirely by the quality of what you bring to it.

Earlier in her career, Kim founded Genoo, one of the pioneering B2B marketing automation platforms, and has served as a Fractional CMO for SaaS, software, and AI companies. Her client results include turning a $1.6 million budget into $50 million in revenue over three years, growing inbound lead flow by 1,200%, and fueling ten consecutive years of 22% year-over-year growth. She has been named a Top 40 Digital Marketer, and has been a faculty member at CEO Space International. Kim brings to this conversation not a theorist's perspective — but a builder's.
