Train Your Memory For Success In Your Job Search

Matthew Goerke is Back! - American Memory Master and Creator of The Memory Switch Program

The demands of a professional include remembering a wealth of knowledge including client information, market data, presentations, and most importantly, names...

The demands placed upon an executive job seeker are even greater. Remembering conversations, networking exchanges, coffee meetings and names and focusing on what is most important – the person you are speaking with at that moment and details associated with them. A simple slip of the mind can cost you your next opportunity.

Fortunately there is a solution. TRAIN YOUR MEMORY.

Matthew Goerke’s one hour workshop is a fast paced, success oriented way to learn the basics of the “Memory Switch” system. He addresses the competitive advantage that a trained memory will provide. He will demonstrate what can be done with a trained memory both personally and professionally.

Matthew will lead participants through the Three Step process that make his system so unique:

  1. A series of mental exercises and drills that stimulate and exercise the portion of the brain where memory takes place.
  2. Demonstrate the effectiveness of mnemonic devices.
  3. Focus and activation, and how to stay keyed in on the material that’s important.

Participants of the workshop use this three pronged approach in an interactive exercise that demonstrates, “There is no such thing as a bad memory, just an untrained one”

Meeting Introduction Prep – Be Ready to Share and Shine!

Prior to Matt’s presentation and our interactive discussion, we’ll take time for introductions. Please come prepared with a written 90-second introduction that covers the following:

  1. Who you are and what you do
  2. Why you do it – What drives or motivates you?
  3. What sets you apart – Your unique strengths or experiences
  4. How you get important things done – Your approach to execution
  5. What value you bring to a company – The results or impact an employer can expect

We encourage you to practice your introduction in advance. Try it out with fellow FENG members, gather feedback, and refine it until it feels second nature. Mastering this skill will benefit you far beyond your current search—it’s a lifelong asset.

Alumni members are warmly invited to attend and participate. It’s a meaningful way to give back to the group, support current members, and continue strengthening your network.

Don’t miss this opportunity to connect, contribute, and learn from your fellow FENG colleagues!
