Agenda:

Wednesday, December 6th at 4PM EST, I will be interviewing Katrina Klier, Senior Managing Partner of Sages Strategy Group. Our discussion will be:

Does your Chief Marketing Officer speak a foreign language? Learn how to build metrics with your CMO.

Katrina Klier, Senior Managing Partner of Sage Strategy Group

Known for building businesses and driving profitable growth at scale, Katrina needed a way to explain marketing investments to finance, others on the leadership team, and the board. To do that effectively, she developed the ART of Marketing Framework.

Background on the ART of Marketing Framework:
ART stands for Awareness, Recognition, and Traction. The ART framework provides a common language to have a constructive conversation about the long-cycle and short-cycle aspects of effective marketing by focusing on leading and lagging indicators of marketing’s impact. Grounded in data and trended over time with benchmarks aligned to the company’s strategic goals, the ART framework gives Chief Marketing Officers a consistent framework and methodology to convey the value of marketing to a broader audience.

What we will be discussing:

-    What goes on with the CFO – CMO relationship?
-    What does all this mean for the company?
-    What drives some of this misalignment between the CFO and CMO?
-    How can CFOs and CMOs work better together?
-    What have CMOs and CFOs told you about their experience with ART?
