Speakers: Adriana Odice, VP of Finance & Administration, Wellmore Behavioral Health and Mark Sue, CFO, Arrikto Inc., and FENG IT SIG Co-Chairs

In our upcoming presentation for finance leaders, we will cover the full range of software tools available for finance and accounting departments, providing a clear understanding of the options and how they can enhance departmental efficiency. Additionally, we'll introduce the basics of implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI) in finance, tailored for those who are seeking to expand their application of AI.

The focus will be on two specific AI use cases: its implementation in two-sided marketplaces and its role in addressing challenges faced by non-profit organizations. These examples are chosen to showcase the practical application of AI in finance and how it can be used to tackle real-world problems in different organizational contexts.

This interactive presentation is designed to be informative and actionable, offering insights into how finance departments can utilize technology and AI to improve their operations.

 Adriana Odice, CPA

Adriana is a seasoned accounting professional with passion for process improvement and workflow efficiency.  Throughout her 36-year she’s developed, managed and audited accounting policies and procedures for a number of businesses, large and small, across a span of industries including telecommunications, steel, government offices & municipalities, technology services, private foundations and non-profit organizations.

As part of the generation that witnessed technology’s impact on the accounting industry itself, Adriana actively participated in the development, testing and implementation of accounting systems that transitioned processes dependent on “green” ledger paper into concise, systematic & logic-driven workflows that shortened time-lines, reduced and/or eliminated redundancies and increased efficiencies across all accounting functions.  The results were improved data collection, shorter closing cycles and more timely financial reporting to business owners used to identify positive (& negative) trends to better manage their business and address challenges.

Adriana’s approach to process improvement is utilize technology that answer’s the question: “What’s the  problem we want to solve?”  As the VP of Finance for Wellmore, Inc., a behavioral health and substance use provider in western Connecticut, Adriana utilizes technology to ensure funding dollars are utilized efficiently to maintain compliance with state, federal and local governing sources while meeting program objectives.  This includes evaluating current technological trends, such as A.I. technology, to determine their impactfulness in identifying “the problem” and solutions to “solve it”.
