Presentation:
This session will review actual words and phrases received from real-world CEOs, CFOs, COOs, and CHROs with whom I worked closely beside as they described my approaches and behaviors in the workplace. These statements and directives will show the path that led to an invitation to a "seat at the table" allowing me to inevitably find myself "in the room where it happens." We'll take those words and connect them to stories of day-in-the-life experiences, some encouraging, some nail-biting, some a little embarrassing; but common to corporate professionals. We'll focus on the ‘in the weeds’, specific, applicable moments. The session highlights three very easy key actions you will be able to take home with you that can translate into earning greater value in your organization and getting you or those you lead closer to the room where it happens.
