Our guest presenter, Jerry Wolf, is a 20-year member of FENG. He has had a 40-year career as a consultant to state and local governments and nonprofit agencies, primarily in financial management. He has significant experience in issues related to the management of federal grant programs. He has directed engagements focused on revenue recovery, cost allocation and grant compliance.
Jerry is currently Director with the Financial Services Group of MGT Consulting, a Tampa-based firm that focuses on State, Local and Education (SLED) clients. Prior to joining MGT in 2013, he was a consultant with Ernst & Young from 1976 to 1983, MAXIMUS from 1984 to 2003, and Public Consulting Group from 2004 to 2013.
In addition to his work at MGT, he is a lecturer in Finance at The University of Chicago. He teaches Fundamentals of Finance for Nonprofit Agencies at the Crown School of Social Service Administration at the U of Chicago.
He received his BA from Washington University in St. Louis. He has both an MA and MBA from the University of Chicago. He is a licensed CPA in Illinois.
