Speakers' bios:
Derek Theis is a Vice President and Commercial Banker serving the Greater Houston Area. He works closely with business owners, corporate executives, private equity sponsors, and other professionals who seek the fortress balance sheet, global capabilities, and advanced banking technologies of America’s leading financial institution.
Derek has spent the last 17 years of his career with J.P. Morgan Chase in various roles and capacities serving small businesses to large commercial companies. As a 6-time National Achiever, he is recognized as a leader in driving client success.
Derek has held certifications in advanced credit and cashflow analysis within the firm as well having completed FINRA Series 6, 63, and Texas insurance courses. Currently, he focuses on a multitude of industries including manufacturing, professional services, SaaS, logistics, distribution, wholesale/retail, and import/export to name a few. He is also the Houston lead for Aerospace, Defense, and Government Contracts.
Chayden Tibbitts is a Vice President and Banker in the Houston office of J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Chayden works closely with business owners, corporate executives, private equity sponsors and other professionals who seek the fortress balance sheet and global capabilities of an industry powerhouse. He serves as an advocate in helping them accomplish their personal financial goals all in one place—banking, investing, lending and wealth planning—freeing them to focus on what they do best.
Chayden has a long-held interest in the capital markets, and earned a B.S. in Finance from Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business. While there, he was Co-President of the Asset Management Club, a direct reflection of his leadership in this space.
