How to apply storytelling in your business to build your brand, drive sales & gain more customers
When you look at successful businesses, what do you think is the number one factor that separates them from their competitors?
The answer is their STORY. Most buzz-worthy companies have a unique story that makes them stand out as a brand. At the end of the day, why do you think people buy? They buy because they believe that product or service can somehow make their lives better. That belief is solely built on emotional connections. At the end of the day, we all know that facts tell, but stories sell.
To give you a quick example. What do you think a 75-year-old heating and air conditioning company sell? The obvious answer is heating and air-conditioning units. But the heating and air-conditioning units are the tools they use to sell, what they truly sell is comfort. Do you see the difference between selling heating units and comfort? Which one do you think can evoke your customers’ emotions?
Imagine if you have a story that can capture the hearts of your audience and make them want to buy from you? What will that do for your business?
